GREAT FOOD! I was in town on business and had that craving for Margaritas and Mexican. I read others reviews on the 2-3 local restaurants and chose this one. Happy I did. Large bar and self seating area with other large dining areas on left and right. Great decor, clean, food was good and it came out correct and I am picky on don’t eat rice/beans. Margaritas were big and delish and they rang the bell if you ordered a large! Of course I did! I would recommend trying Salsa’s Mexican.

So, it's been two years since I had visited this restaurant. I was on my way home today and decided to stop for the evening. I walked in, seated, chips and sals, sweet tea- done quick. I had chicken fajitas. It felt like the very nice waitress had just taken my menu when....dinner arrived hot. Tasty and everything I remember from two years ago. They have sustained excellence and measured up to what I remember. Great job!

Went to have dinner with my family, including my father who came to visit for an event. Service was terrible and the food, just forget about it. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come over and take our order. Once she took our order, we didn’t wait too long to receive our food. Another waitress who came to drop off our food, was asking who had ordered what. My brother informed her that he believes he had ordered a burrito, because what was presented Definitely did not look like a burrito, and she retorts by saying “you don’t remember what you ordered”. It was UNBELIEVABLE! I mean, as first timers, we had no idea what the food was going to look like, but the waitress should KNOW who ordered what. The same waitress that brought out our food ended up just throwing the food at us and walked away very irritated. My family and I continue to eat. When we needed to leave, we needed to go to the register to pay the bill. My father was very disappointed with the food quality and service, so he paid a 13% tip. The person behind the register was like “you’re only paying 13% tip? “ and my dad said yes. It was ABSURD how he tried shaming and guilting my father for a higher tip for the most awful Mexican food and rude service. My suggestion is for management to pay their employees betters and hire better cooks. I say that this restaurant will not probably shut down because it’s the ONLY Mexican place in town, but coming from Texas, it was truly the worst Mexican food I’ve had. If only they would have had better service, they would have received a 3-star rating from me. Otherwise, now it’s a 1-star rating from me.

I’ve been staying in Clinton for over a week and this is the first place I have been to that had ALL of their empty tables clean! The waiter was prompt and efficient. He took my order soon after and the food was delivered hot! Everything tasted very good. The queso was great with the chips and salsa. It was hot and creamy; not too thick. The lettuce was fresh and crisp on the salad and food items. The fries were perfect. I usually like the Chicken Chimichanga a little more moist, but it was still good. I will return and bring the whole family next time.

Not very good, greasy and ground beef taste terrible. Hot sauce had no flavor, chips were stale and hard. Shrimp was alright but over all no bueno. Being from Texas we know good Mexican food and this was not good
